Nariyal Dhood Ladoo - Coconut Balls

PREPARATION AND COOKING TIME:
YIELD:

  • Combine over moderate heat to 250F:
    • 1/2 cup white sugar;
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar;
    • 1/4 cup gur;
    • 1 cup heavy cream;
  • Remove from heat and stir in:
    • 1/2 grated coconut;
    • 2 tbsp crushed raw pistachios;
    • 2 tbsp crushed pecans/almonds;
    • 1/3 tsp freshly ground nutmeg;
  • Roll into small balls when cool enough to handle;
  • Roll in Raskara whilst still sticky.
