Baked Bananas with Creamed Sandesh

PREPARATION AND COOKING TIME: about 30 minutes
YIELD: enough for 4 to 6 persons

  • Bray 1/2 cup sandesh with:
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar;
    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon;
  • Saute 5 large ripe bananas, peeled and halved lengthways in 4 tbsp ghee until lightly browned:
  • Place on tray and spread half the sandesh mixture on 1/2 the bananas;
  • Top with the remaining banana halves and spread with the rest of the sandesh mixture;
  • Pour over 3 tablespoons heavy cream;
  • Bake at 180°C/355°F for about 15 minutes or until golden brown;
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon;
  • Serve immediately.
