Jaya Sri Radhe!

Sri Radha-pada-sevana: the highest nectar of our life is the service of Srimati Radharani.

A guide-booklet describing the most important places around the sacred ponds of Sri Radhakund and Sri Syamakund, was written by 108 Sri Krsna das Babaji Madrasi Baba and printed in 1986 on the 500th Anniversary of the appearance of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu who revealed the identity of these two divine lakes in 1514.

A personalized copy of this small guidebook was signed and handed to Radha Kunda Das by Krsna das Babaji himself at Radhakund in 1990. Babaji's sole interest was to lovingly guide visitors through it as he considered them specially fortunate souls for having come to the most distinguished transcendental entity of Shrimati Radharani's lake. The book includes a nice map of the area.

View of Radhakunda

The holy place known as Mathura is spiritually superior to Vaikuntha, the transcendental world, because the Lord appeared there. Superior to Mathura -- Puri is the transcendental forest of Vrndavana because of Krsna's rasa-lila pastimes. And superior to the forest of Vrndavana is Govardhana Hill, for it was raised by the divine hand of Sri Krsna and was the site of His various loving pastimes. And, above all, the superexcellent Sri Radha-kunda stands supreme, for it is overflooded with the ambrosial nectarean prema of the Lord of Gokula, Sri Krsna. Where, then, is that intelligent person who is unwilling to serve this divine Radha-kunda, which is situated at the foot of Govardhana Hill? (Nectar of Instruction, verse 9)

Srila Prabhupada says about Srimati Radharani:

"All glories to Radharani! She is so dear to Krsna. Everyone is trying to love Krsna, but Krsna is trying to love Radha. Just imagine how great She is? Krsna prema is so valuable, but Krsna is after Radharani. She is so great. We have to offer Her our respects".

"Of all the young girls, Radha is the most beautiful. She always dresses so nicely that Damodara is attracted by Her beauty. If you go to Vrindavan you will find everyone worshiping Radharani. All the devotees in Vrindavan worship Radharani. The pure devotees pray to Radharani, 'O my worshipable Radharani! You are so full of mercy. I am begging for Your mercy.'" (Lecture tape 09/18/69)
